Eli Davis Weiss. Los Angeles, Whatever, Let's not take ourselves too seriously

Welcome to the world.

¡more!

White patent hot pants? It’s so necessary. Events, London, Let's not take ourselves too seriously

Wednesday, London, innit. Dazed & Confused mag return with a big ole jam to celebrate a new Soho venue and all out fun with the Chromeo After Show After Party. Yup, a lil’ sumin sumin before the hotel lobby. So it’s an all homie affair with Chromeo, Sweat.X, Patchwork Pirates, DJ Jaclyn from The Bangers, Zombie Disco Squad and Tapedeck. That’s Montreal, NYC and Cape Town all down with London’s finest. For a fiver squire? Damn straight. You want more info. Click the flyer dummy.

I set Los Angeles on fire. Los Angeles, Let's not take ourselves too seriously

I want to send out my sincerest apologies to anyones feelings I may have hurt by making fun of a t-shirt the other day, it was never my intention to bum anyone out and honestly thought all parties involved would see it as an obvious joke. I guess I was wrong eh? Alot of people are associated with this website and it was never meant to belittle anything they are doing or anything anyone is doing really. I love this city and almost everything involved with it and I love all you people out there doing things and making this a better place to live and be creative.
I should do a things I love about LA list like…the everyday sunshine, the transplants from North Carolina, the people who are down to party at any second of the day, all the bicycle riders (especially Matt, dude is straight up killing it!), Waterball Sundays, $5 Dodger games, $200 Laker games, having a grip of friends who can live every day without a 9 to 5, the people with 9 to 5’s doing no less with their lives, those tall skinny trees everywhere, the fact that RabbitTusk went to Brazil for free for beating a bunch of streetwear store employees at mini soccer, having a backyard to read a book in after travelling way too much, Neutra Houses, the opening of Silver Lake to the public, people who realize Silver Lake is actually two words, the little punk rock Mexican kids that skate at the end of my road, Cha Cha weekdays, Family, knowing I’ll never be able to afford to buy a house so I never have to worry about it, these and these and damn…there’s really too much to list.
The things I can’t stand about Los Angeles… 17 year olds getting drunk in bars and how it’s somehow accepted as OK and even celebrated, and smog. I don’t like smog.

Ok, so I hope the people I bummed out accept my apology and I won’t attempt and make any more bad jokes. You can email me if you want to send me hate mail or punch me in the face (thru email) gtfu at gtfuradio.com

“I set the city on fire, have you seen that shit?” T.I.
