Aw Damn.. Rabbit Tusk interlopers invade Texas. There was mellow, there was mayhem. A hotel room was virtually trashed. Flights were scrambled, and extreme public nausea was observed. The highlights? Dan Deacon street sighting (I swear!), No Age destroys the dark, and hot girls in matching fuchsia jumpers. I think I forgot to mention Redman. Yes, also Redman.
We Swanging, tippin on 44s, in a lack with fo’ hos, we slowed up, chunk up the deuce man hold up. Were coming out to SXSW for the week. We’ll for sure be at the following jams with URB next 1000 Rap picks and RT fam Brother Reade and of course Evans and Eagles. I’ll be damned.
Tonight team RT takes on the dudes from UNDFTD. Word on the street is that they’re no joke. Luckily, we’ll be without our leading scorer, Sid, and our most tenacious defender, Sam. No worries. The rest of us got together last night and watched He Got Game, for inspiration… I thought Hoosiers would have been more appropriate, but watching Denzel roast Milla J. is always a motivator………injury report tomorrow.
Mr. Lil Nate Harrington DJs at Cha Cha every Wednesday night and plays all the weird music you could hope to hear. Community event every Wednesday night right in the center of the hood.
Waiting to Inhale examines the heated debate over marijuana and its use as medicine in the United States. Twelve states have passed legislation to protect patients who use medical marijuana. Yet opponents claim the medical argument is just a smokescreen for a different agenda– to legalize marijuana for recreation and profit. What claims are being made, and what are the stakes? Waiting to Inhale takes viewers inside the lives of patients who have been forever changed by illnesses and parents who lost their children to addiction. Is marijuana really a gateway drug? What evidence is there to support the claim that marijuana can alleviate some of the devastating symptoms of AIDS, cancer and multiple sclerosis? Waiting to Inhale sheds new light on this controversy and presents shocking new evidence that marijuana could hold a big stake in the future of medicine.

Taken from hubculture.com/ The Center of the Universe
It’s 2007, and the look and feel of the decade is in full swing. The idea behind the hub zeitgeist ranking is that at certain times in certain places, there is a veritable “center of the universe” a place where innovation, change and vibe combine to create the place of the moment. Earlier we looked at this from a historical perspective as we prepared our first ranking of hubs and their impact on hub culture. Yes, its arbitrary, and no its not scientific, but it does reflect a combination of influences on a global basis. It does not reflect ultimate power or coolness, but some combination that reflects “right now” better than anywhere. Presenting the 2007 Hub Zeitgeist List (after the jump):
